Could be a clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, clogged screen in tank, bad ign. Coil, bad ignition module (does this have a distributor)? If not, crank sensor, coil pak(s).
I would guess ignition related. Check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge.
If you want to do the work yourself, get a Haynes manual for that year. Then eliminate fuel first (the fuel level senders can go bad, so you may be out of gas).
