I have a problem with van it starts fine for a week or so and then it will not start. When it does not start I notice there is no sound from fuel pump when key is turned on.
Any Idea what might be causing the problem

The pump will only run for two seconds after you turn on the ignition switch, then it will turn off until the engine computer sees engine rotation, (cranking or running).

Next time it doesn't start, check for spark. Most problems involve a lack of spark AND fuel.
