Well that is screwy.

That should say: Yes BUT you need to be sure that the pistons are out of the way first. If a piston is at TDC and you try to rotate a cam the valves will hit the piston.

Ok so got cam locks in place crank at TDC moved cams to 12 oclock position but when rotate the crank around it stills stops at the same point will not go all the way around.

You have one of two problems (or both) as I keep saying:

1 - You have bent valves that are damaged, remove the head and replace those.

2 - You have the crankshaft turned to the wrong cylinder. You need to have it in position for number one cylinder.

Either way the constant trying to turn the engine with the valves in the way has probably bent them enough that they won't seal.

Remove the head and start from there. Or just replace the engine entirely.

Head off all exhaust bent looks like not seated also indents on number 1 and 4 piston is it okay to do head work and rebuild like is with the pistons like this

Clean the piston tops with some carb/choke cleaner and a plastic scraper.
Then where the valves tagged the pistons on the lip of the relief use a small file or similar to remove any sharp edges from that mark. That will help eliminate a possible stress riser and hot point. Inspect the pistons for cracks once you clean those areas, From the pictures it looks like you should be OK, but clean them up and look close just to be sure.

While you have it open you could run some flexible brushes through the coolant passages and oil passages to clean it up some.

I was just more worried about the indent it's pretty deep but not through or that deep you run our finger over definitely feel it
