I would get a noid light to test your injectors to see if they are pulsing when you try to start the vehicle.

Check if the exhaust system is clogged-up due to the catalytic converter if okay do below

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

We need to start by checking to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine. An easy way to check is by trying to start it using starting fluid. If it starts, then no fuel is getting to the engine. If it doesn't start, most likely there is no spark to the plugs. Try that and let me know what you find.

It began with me driving down the road and I lost electrical power. My first assumption was the alternator took a crap on me. When I got it home, I put the battery charger on it and it started fine, but had low volts. I could drive it locally for a couple days until the battery died again. The alternator wasn't charging. I took the alternator to O'Reilly's to have it tested and the test came back fine. I put the alternator back in and now it won't start at all. It turns over, but won't fire up. Any ideas what this could be? I put a code reader on it and from what I can tell, it came back with no problems.

Yesterday morning when I went to start my car up it wouldn't start. When I put the key in it seems to have power but when I turn it all the way to START it loses all power.
Its not the battery because I just bought a new one thinking it was the battery,
I don't know much if anything at all about cars. What could it be?
Any help is appreciated
Also One thing I noticed was that when I have the key in the ignition and I test the headlights I HEAR a clicking noise coming from the fuse box area, what do you think that is? And the headlights dont come ON
Any help is greatly Appreciated

It could the starter. The clicking you hear is just relays. Check your battery connections to be sure they clean and tight.

I agree, we need to know if you have fuel pressure, spark and injection pulse, and a scan for any unresolved fault codes will be handy as well.

My car sputters when I first start it up in the morning. One it is warmed up it is fine. Then when it sits for several hours, I have to go through the process again. Please advise.

Check fuel pump pressure. It may be dropping off when it sits and taking longer than normal to build. For directions, go to our homepage under the DIY section.
