2001 Ford Ranger V6 127,000 miles

Sometimes it will start but will not keep running. Other times it will start and be fine. Someone said something about a fuel composition sensor circuit malfuntion or a EGR problem. What do think?

Well ! I think the idle control valve. ( On ford ).
