I own a 97 Explorer, 120k miles. My driver's side lowbeam headlamp is out, but the highbeam still works. The bulb is fine and the fuse is fine. What else could I check?

you say the headlightbulb is fine? there are two filiments in the headlight they may look all right but can be burnt out. check to see if you are getting juice to the low beam headlight wire.

If you are sitll having difficulty checking the filaments, try switching the headlamps.
