When I went to roll up the driver's side window I heard a noise, like something cracked and broke, then I heard something fall inside the door. My window will not roll up now when I use the button. I have to physically pull the window up with my hands and then wedge something into the area where the window goes down so my vehicle will be secure, but as I'm driving, the window slowly goes down and I'm hoping that this is a reasonably price and easy fix. What do you think it could be? If you could help me pinpoint the problem so I don't have to use something to wedge in the window so it doesn't go down, I would greatly appreciate it. I love my car and I have had no issues with it until now. Thank you so much for your time.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a faulty window regulator.
The regulator is what moves the window up and down and is attached to the motor.

To find out exactly what broke, you will have to first remove the inner door panel. This will allow you access to the window motor and regulator.
Some of these vehicles, the window motor and regulator, come as a single unit.

Here is a helpful guide:

I have attached diagrams below for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
