Car was Idling then all of a sudden shut off and would not start back up. Replaced cam shaft and crank sensor still did not work. Replaced ASD relay still did not work. It has no pulsating and no spark, however the fuel pump is coming on.

It sounds like the ASD relay is not working. Here is a guide to help test the relay with the location in the diagram below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Cheers

So there is no power to the injectors. There is however power to the coil but for only about five seconds.

Your problem is coming from the ASD relay circuitry or the computer itself is defective.

We put a new computer in it and there was no change. I am assuming it is the ASD which is what we originally thought. So we replaced the relay and it started! Should have done that first. DOH

What is wrong if your car will not start and you changed the crank position sensor, camshaft sensor, and ignition coil?

First you should have had the engine scanned to see if those sensors were really bad. Guesstimate does not work on today's cars. If you have no spark go to the DIY section on the site here and look under tune up it will go through step by step on how to see whats wrong if you are not getting any spark. Also check your fuel pressure.

On a 2.7L as you did not give engine size fuse 8 is in starting system. If it blows as soon as key is turned on it may be ignition switch or wiring hitting and grounding out. Have a mechanic check this out as to where the problem is. It can also be a start relay not working right.

I have tried starting and engine will not turn over, gets the clicking noise usually associated with battery being drained, but no battery is in this car. Is the problem the sensors or computer system?

Hello, the battery has a full charge and the cables/wires are clean and tight on both ends? Check the circuits going to the starter relay in the power distribution center under the hood. Any testing, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set.

I used to know a Danny Powers in my younger years. Your not from Oklahoma are you?

Car was running okay, we changed the exhaust and afterwards it started, but it ran badly, then it would not start. We changed fuses, cam sensors, went through all the fuse boxes, the timing is lined up. We have tried everything possible that has to deal with starting the vehicle and nothing is working. When we hook up the code reader it does not throw any codes. We are at a loss.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a crankshaft sensor that has gone out. Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when changing the sensor:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/crankshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Below are some diagrams to show you what it will be like on your car.

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Four cylinder front wheel drive.

On Friday night my car shut off while pulling in to the driveway and the engine light came on. The car has power, but it will not start. I have 3/4 of a tank of gas and a friend checked the fuel pump and can hear it working. I have tried for the past three days to start it, but it is just not turning over. I do get regular oil changes, but have not had my 60,000 mile check up. Last week my car did a little sputter here and there, but I did not think anything of it as it has done that before when I use Hess gas. What are some of the possibilities this could be? I just kind of want an idea of what I am dealing with before I call the dealer to have it towed in. Thank you!

Have you checked to see if you are getting spark to the engine? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Also, did the check engine light come on after it shut off or while you were driving?
