Car siezes up and shuts down completely when cruising at highway speeds or when it is reved up high (over 3000rpm.) It may be related to the engine temperature, as the car works fine in the winter for long and short trips, but now that the weather is warming up again the problem from last fall is back. During the warm weather it works fine for shorter trips, but once it heats up, the problem occurs. Once it is off for a while it will turn on again fine.

Just before it shuts down, the revs will oscillate. Mostly fall and come back up to what they where at originally.

The engine had a head gasket blown before, and was ran overheated for a little bit, but the problem was fixed and worked completely trouble free through almost two summers.

Any suggestions?
