Engine Cooling problem
1991 Dodge Spirit 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Had steam and slight condensation coming from the exhaust - wouldn't pass Oregon DEQ because of the "smoke". Bought some K&W Nanotech sealant and followed the instructions diligently. Not only is the steam continuing but now the condensation has gotten worse - constant water drips from the exhuast pipe. Could the sealant have made the issue worse or does it take time for it to work?

Where are you getting condensation (what part of the exhaust)? Is it coolant?

The smoke is coming from the tail pipe - along with drop of water - an almost constant flow of both smoke & water vapor - no anti freeze.

Used nano-tech sealant as directed - no help - in fact seemed to make it worse.

Nope - pretty clear - it looks, feels (hot), and smells like steam. Car remains off-line.

The only thing, other than condensation, that is a liquid is coolant. Have you noticed that the coolant level is dropping? The only thing I can think of is a head gasket. You may want to check engine compression.
