Please help me to figure out how to fix the connectivity between the ignition and the starter. The battery is fine, the starter is fine. There is a connectivity problem.

Hello, did you try cranking in neutral? Did you do any testing at the starter relay? The relay should be located under the hood, driverside, close to the fender well. There are probably several relays, three should be facing toward the front of vehicle, the middle one should be for the starter. If in doubt, look at the wiring colors at the connector, red-- yellow-- brown-- brown with a yellow stripe. You can unplug the relay, use a testlite on the wiring connector, with the key in the crank position, two of those terminals should be hot.

Might be a problem with ignition switch, can't be sure without testing.
