Ok so I did what khlow and what cadieman said. I grounded one probe to the bady the grey wire came up with 0.01v. I put everything back together. I tested both sides like you said and their was power. I also hooked the two connectors and it was 12 volts on one side and 0.01 on the other and I flipped the connector on the other side and it wasthe same. So their is voltage going to the connector I would assume.

I know there is voltage coming to the connector because your reading voltage from the pink and black wires. This tests the voltage on the pink and it tests the ground to be good. Just test the opposite side of the connector the same. Look like blue and yellow and black stripe. Do u read voltage their going to

Ok sorry I have been sick since yesterday. They think I am having a reaction to one of the medicines I am taking. That's what they are hoping. I think I have scarlet fever. I have had scarlet fever 8 times and the doctors can't figure out why I get it so much. They are worrying about my heart when I get older. I will try tomorrow. It just depends on how I am feeling thanks for understanding.

Hey guys I didn't want you thinking I forgot. I can't catch a break I got scarlet fever so I have been in and out of the hospital. This is my first time in awhile I have gotten this. I have had this 9 times in my life. The doctors were like that is not good they said when you get 40 we will have to check your heart every year because it does something to the heart valves and something else to the heart. I will do this maybe next week if I feel good.

That would indicate the brake switch is not the cause of the problem.

We have been going around in circles and don't seem to be getting anywhere.

I did not go through all the post completely and might have missed out something so fill me in if necessary.

Is the Orange Indicator Light now showing when the switch is turned on? This light must be indicating so that the cruise control system is in standby mode for it to work when cruise speed is set.

No the orange light is still not on. Me and cadieman have checked power at the switch their is power going to the switch. I also tested both sides like cadieman wanted me to and I had power. I turned the car to the run position and pushed the off an warmer and let it go through then I turned the lever on and it shows E. 7.0 when I push the brake it switches from E.7.0 to E.0.0 same thing if you try to set it or resume. We just tried jumping the grey and brown wire on the brake switch. It made no difference the light did not come on.

You should get that resolved first as that is the main on off for the system. Without this light turning on, the cruise is never going to work, unless the problem is only a faulty bulb.

When switch is turned on, Check the Brown wire at brake switch for battery voltage.
