tire noise???

I have a XC90 - 2005 and am noticing some noise when I am driving. I think it is coming from the tires. They are original to the vehicle with 41,000 miles. You only hear it when you get above 45-50 mph. What could this be?

Under or over inflation could cause this.How is the wear pattern on the tires? A feathering or uneven wear wiil make noise.at 45k they should probably be due to be replaced soon.
