Hi all. I have an xc 90 and susect the in tank fuel pump to be faulty. The problem I have is that when the engine is switched off and left for 20-30 mins, she will not restart. I can get it to go if I bleed the injectors. I switched on the ignition this am and heard some buzzing in the tank that I suspect is normal, but this was accompanied by some dripping/bubbling noises! The pump did not stop buzzing for about 1 minute. I dont think it buzzed that long before. My question is really, how does one remove the in tank pump? It looks like there is no access from under the seats so does this mean that you have to remove the rear axle/exhaust etc?
Any help on this would be very much appreciated

Sounds like the tank has to come out. This req's removal of all items blocking the tank from coming out and I recommend draining the tank as much as possible before you try to remove it
