Truck shut off out of the blue and wouldn't start. Changed the coil distributor cap and rotor and crank sensor and still wont start. Gas pump works and coil has power and ground at the coil plug. But no power out of the coil when cranked. Please help I'm dumbfounded.

Hi,

There are a couple of things I want you to check. First, there is an auto shut down relay (ASD) that will cancel spark if bad or tripped. Also, there are three fuses I need you to check.

Below I attached two pics showing the power distribution box under the hood. Pic 1 shows the location and pic 2 shows what to check. As far as the ASD relay, if there is another relay with the same part number, switch them. If not, here is a link you may fund helpful for testing:

Also, in addition to checking the fuses, confirm there is power in and out from them. Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find. Also, if you hear the fuel pump running, we may have to test the cam sensor in the distributor. See pic 3.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
