When we first got the truck, the carburetor would flood, so, it would actually start then. We drove it maybe 10 miles and went on a dirt road and it shut off. Sounded and acted like it fid when it would flood. We bought a rebuild kit and it wouldn't start so we just bought a whole brand-new carburetor, and it cranks but won't start. We got a new distributor, and the spark plugs are all good. We know there's fire because there was a little fire where the oil goes. But we've since did a complete oil change. Now sometimes when it's cranking it will sound like something pops from pressure (not sure if that has anything to do with it or not). What is wrong with it? So tired of having no vehicle.

We can get you going, no problem. First open the choke plate using a clip to hold it open, then hold your foot down on the throttle and then pump it when cranking. If you upload a quick video of the engine cranking over in your response I can see if the engine is in good shape. Also, let's see if the spark is getting to the plugs, here is a video and guide to help us get started:

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
