Engine Performance problem
1992 Chevy Truck Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120, 00 miles

Plenty of turn over speed. With a test light there's voltage at both sides of the coil but NO spark. Voltage at the throttle body injectors but NO fuel sprays. Fuel pump pumps. NO spark and NO fuel, turns fine. Rotor button turns, cap and rotor clean. Under the dash at the fuse panel there's no voltage on the crank fuse.

Hi, thanks for the donation. You didn't list a model. I looked at 88--94 c/k series truck. I looked at your fuse box and starter circuit wiring, I didn't see a crank fuse as such, listed? Engine cranking, the negative/tach side of coil, should have a pulse, if no pulse, check the pick-up coil or ignition module.

On the list S-10 wasn't listed. It's a S-10 with a 4.3 throttle body injection. I've got a Haynes manual. I checked the crank fuse, There's no voltage on either side with the key in the run position. There's voltage on both sides of the coil when cranking and in the run position. The fuel pump runs but no gas sprays like it usually does. Thanks, Brian P.S. Thanks for the quick reply

Thanks for the added info. The purple wire at the starter solenoid, should be hot with the key in the crank position. My info shows more than one circuit at the starter S terminal, feed for the crank fuse, comes from the S terminal by way of the ignition switch, in crank position. I may have to check feed to and from the ignition switch. Did you try cranking in neutral?

I just wanted to write and thank you very much for the answer you provided. You suggested the modual in the distributor. My son got a used distributor from a friend. He slipped it in and all is well now. Thanks again for the great and fast service.
