That codes I for a brake light switch problem and shouldn't effect starting. Is this a gas or diesel engine? It might still be covered under warranty if you have the exteneded warranty with it.

I was kind of afraid you were going to say diesel. I am not a diesel guy but have your battery/batteries checked for condition as well as load test. Auto parts do this for free. Then look at the fuses in the pic this box is underhood you can test them with a test light and they should light on both sides also check the pcm relay because the one code is that the ecm has lost communication so that may be your problem. Also try resetting your anti theft unit it should tell you how in manual as we don't have instructions for that only to fix them. Also with the u0155 code you may have lost the fuel prime so if youspray choke cleaner in air duct and it starts then it's a fuel problem. But for the other problem of a no start it needs a pro type scanner hooked to the it to test other areas.

It sounds like it could be a battery problem. Sometimes when batteries get low on charge or are failing, they don't have enough power to disengage the starting circuit. Have the batteries load tested.

What size engine do you have?Is the security light on solid or flashing with the key in the run position? Also what does the high pressure oil pressure read on the scan tool while cranking? Also have you checked for water in the fuel filter etc?Air in the fuel lines? How long ago did you replace the fuel filter?

The instrument cluster is the most intelligent computer on the vehicle, and if it doesn't work, nothing else will. It is what tells all the other computers to turn on. It has to be a compression or timing problem. Real slow cranking could be considered a compression problem if you want to get technical, but that would explain the no-start condition. If the ecm is not communicating with the engine the fuel will may not be delivered as it should and not start.

The 2 "Lost Communications" errors are probably where this problem lies.

1: Check and clean the connectors to the ECM and instrument cluster.

2: Check the grounds for these two items.

3: Check the wiring to the ECM and instrument cluster.

4: Listen carefully when you crank the engine? Can you hear the fuel pump engaging?

5: Find the fuel pressure test port inside the engine compartment. Crank the engine and then carefully push the valve in the port, shielding your eyes and mouth. If no fuel sprays, you have a pump problem or air in the lines.
