I own a 1980 mazda rx7 with roughly 200k km on it it runs on the rotary engine. This car is a tried tested and true rally car that I love to race. My problem is that I have white smoke that is constantky coming out of the exhaust and in a normal car this would translate into a cracked head or blown head gasket but due to my lack of knowledge in the rotary engine I am unable to diagnose the problem so I want to know if there is anything that you or anyone would be able to help me with. Help is very appreciated. And I look forward to getting a reply and getting my car ready to race thank you

Well if your getting constant white smoke. There is a chance that one of the rotor housing "o" ring seals is beginning to fail. This would translate into something like a head gasket. The rotor housing is surrounded with coolant and is sealed by a pair of large "or" rings. These can fail over time.

Another thing to check is if the cooalnt injection system (coolant bottle on the passenger side firewall) is plugged in. If it is, try unpluggin it for a few days. These are know to fail and inject too much coolant.
