I have a 2000 Licoln Towncar 4.6l V8. 253,000. When I turn on my AC I can hear it come on, but no air comes out not even when I turn on the heater. What could it be. I was told maybe some kind of modulator?

Sounds like your blower motor is bad. It could be stuck also.
It is under the hood ,on the passenger side, up by the firewall (back of dash)
You can see the round black part that mounts to the firewall duct system and the motor is about 3.5 inch diameter by 3-4 inches long....a cylinder looking motor.

This is a profile pic the left front of this pic would be inside the firewall duct system with a squirrel cage fan on it.
There is a small black vent tube on the bottom of the motor. It pops i like a rubber grommet. You can pop it out and stick your finger in the hole and turn the motor a little bit....or hit the end or motor with a metal rod or bar....this will sometimes jar it into working.....
If no spinning...you can unhook the wire connector on it and use a volt meter or test light to see if you are getting power when the key is on and the fan is turned on....
If you are getting voltage and it is not spinning then you have a bad motor. New ones are about 45.00 from parts stores and more form dealer.
On this particular item...the aftermarket ones seem to last just as long as the OEM ones.
There are certain parts I WILL NOT use aftermarket on....In this case it would be your decision.

Cartier model. A/C was blowing cool when I bought it in California drove it to Arizona and now it is not blowing cold air. I was warned it would need a charge so they thought but I checked the refrigerant level and it shows it has enough everything has power, the A/C line gets ice cold, but nothing in the vehicle. What could be the issue(s)? Thanks in advance.

You need an A/C tech to hook up a set of gauges to read the high and low side pressure, this will give an indication as to what may be happening. We need to know some pressure readings to start the diagnosis process.

I just followed the video on how to repair A/C and I notice my condenser fan is not kicking on. How do I diagnose the fan issue?

I need the pressure readings to start the process of elimination. No condenser fan I feel is a secondary problem, you may have a problem with a blend door not functioning, a blocked TX valve. If the compressor is kicking the condenser fan problem may just be a faulty relay a bad connection at the fan or a failed fan. Check for power at the fan plug with the compressor on.

I've changed the vacuum reservoir, heater control valve, check valve, temperature servo, checked the vacuum hoses for cracks, nothing has changed change.

It only blows cool, not cold, when it does, I had R134 put in, still just cool, not cold.

No matter what I select, air only comes out of the front vents.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Hi and thank you for using 2CarPros.
It sounds like your A/C compressor clutch may be worn out and slipping.
It is a fairly easy job to replace one.

Most chain auto parts stores have free tool rentals so you can rent the clutch puller at one of them. If you are interested in replacing it yourself please let me know and I can give you a step by step.

Rich.
