Will not start

Electrical problem
1997 Lincoln Continental V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 20000 miles

drove it to work parked it 8 hours later wont start there is no spark going to the spark plugs.

97 continental 4.6l, after about 10 minutes of driving at road speed cruse on, the car looses power and kicks out of overdrive, the temp gage goes to zero, if the cruse is turned off the rpm comes back but hi rpm like it, s in limp in mode. The message center displays engine temp data error, and check traction control. Any sugestions?

What could be wrong?
My car wont start. The inside lights come on the radio also I was driving last night no problems but check engine light was flashing and its been burning alot of gas the last two weeks without any extra driving just normal routine. This morning nothing tried a jump im stuck

My lincoln town car wont start. It was running fine when I parked it last night. Engine turns over ok.
