I have a 01 Honda Prelude and as I'm driving with the A/C on the engine temperature seems to rise up forcing me to cut the A/C off? What should I do

First is check the coolant level of the engine. That is the radiator and the overflow container. If that is full, you might consider replacing the thermostat but make sure that the radiator fan on the cooling system is functioning. The one on the radiator for the A/C should come on as soon as the A/C is activated.
