I was driving down the road when suddenly my car wouldn't go when pressing on the gas pedal. The car was still running but just wouldn't rev. I managed to pull over and turned the car off. I tried to re start the car and it wouldn't start. The check engine light is now on. What might be going wrong with my car?

Hi Ricky,

When CEL shows, it would be easier to know what has gone wrong.

Retrieve the trouble code and see what comes up.

Use a jumper wire to connect the SCS and turn ignition switch ON. Count the blinking of the CEL and let me know what you find.

Delay flashes = 10 counts and fast flash would be single digit.

Note pauses length. Long dely between flashes indicates next count.
