Ok. Car would not start. Went on line for some answers. One suggestion was to hit the side of the drivers dashboard because it might be the fuel pump relay. Wow, that was it. It started right up. Here is the problem. Before finding this anwer one suggestion was to put in a jumper and check the check engine light for codes. Part of that procedure was to put a fuse in the "Back Up" empty space in the right side fuse box in the engine compartment. When I put the fuse in the Cd in the radio came out by itself. When I took the fuse out, the disc went back in. Well I put the fuse back in for the test and got know engine check lights. After I took the fuse out the problem started. No radio, AC, fan or cig lighter. They will not work. Everything else seems to work OK and no fuses are blown. Help, what did I do?

I am not sure, but there is a voltage regulator under the dash that could be been blown. Start by checking the fuses under the hood. The rap on the dash trick is only a short term fix. Pull out the EFI relay from under the dash. You will probably find the terminals are badly soldered and need to be redone. Take care of that and the rapping will not be needed.
