Hi, I have replaced Fuel pump, fuel filter, rotor cap, ignition rotor, wires, coil and battery and still cannot start the engine. Sometimes, it will try to start when I release the ignition. I also removed the ignition switch and checked the contacts which were fine. Also, when I did have the engine running, it ran very smooth. Now, it just cranks without starting.

Welcome to the forum, I saw what you replaced, did you do any testing? Have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. Have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. If you don't a fuel pressure gage, some of the national brand autostores will loan a gage. Can you check for codes?

Thanks for the reply. I have had help and the fuel pressure was good. We also checked for codes and no codes were present. Emissions also showed good.
I will check the spark at the plug.
