I TRIED TO START MY TRUCK AN ALL IT DOES IS MAKE A CLICKING SOUND. MY LIGHTS AN EVERYTHING STILL WORK BUT THEN I TRIED 2 JUMP IT AND IT DID NOTHING.I THINK ITS BETWEEN MY BATTERY AND CABLES OR MY ALTERNATOR OR MY STARTER/SOLENOID NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. ANY IDEAS?

Well it could be a couple things. If jumping the car made no difference, I would check the battery cables to make sure they are clean and tight. Also, make sure the ground to the engine and body are clean and tight. Next, did the clicking come from the starter (dead battery click). If not, then I would check the starter relay. If no luck there, disconnect the battery. Next, remove the starter, take it to the parts store and have them bench test it.

Let me know what you find.
