I have a 2000 Ford Taurus 4D 78,000 miles. I get check engine light on my car when it cranks. It stalls when i try to crank it in the morning. I have to accelerate a little to make it crank up. Anyway, i took to local auto part store and they determined reason for light is 2 cylanders no putting out. I no abs. nothing about cars. what does that mean? I noticed if i sit at a light too long the light will flash then when i go it stalls more. Runs kind of funny. Local Estabrook says "engine uhaul" or new engine. Is it necessary..is there a shortcut..could it be transmission? What could it be?
