Accelerator sticks - not slowing down?

We found no vacuum leaks. However a friend suggested to disconnect battery so the computer would go back to factory settings. Evidently the computer didn't realize that new parts had been added. Now all seams to be operating correctly. Thanks for your input and help!

I have the exact same problem and have also r/r the TPS and repaired all vacuum leaks (that I could find -r/r PCV valve and hose). Also disconnected the battery to reset ECM and problem is still the same. It's EXACTLY as described by LENREIS.

Please clear the computer codes and disconnect the battery for at least 30 minutes, this will help clear the adaptation.

Steve W. Helped me out. Turns out I was given the wrong idle air control valve.... After much experimentation.
