2001 Ford Taurus SES little heat

Check the heater bypass hose behind the engine in front of the core, a lot of cores have been plugged, when system is flushed, water takes the easy way thru the bypass and the core doesn't get a full cleaning. If this is definitely not your issue, check the blend door operation to make sure you're getting full heat.
