I do not get any codes, will not even turn the scanner on?

Using a handheld scanner I don't get any codes, it will not even turn the scanner on.

Hello,

No getting power to the scanner is likely due to a blown fuse.
Check the #3 fuse in the under the dash fuse box. It should be a 20A fuse.
I have attached the diagram below.
