Hi Joe,
Well the fan clutch was a heck of a lot easier than I thought it would be and definitely easier than the bumper! I followed your advice and left the belt on, I only unscrewed the top of the shroud. Unscrewed the four bolts to the water pump and it came right off:) It was a bit of a pain getting it back in the shroud since I took the lazy way but it works great. The new drive belt was a snap too and now I don't think my idle is high at all. I also replaced the bumper, the efi piece above it and the headlight/turn signal assembly. The previous owner had wrecked it and that is why I stripped that other truck last weekend. Looks a hundred percent better. I have noticed that I am losing coolant though and I fear it is my head gasket. It's not at a rapid pace and I always fill it when it gets low but still not good. It has a new water pump, haven't seen any radiator leaks but I did buy some radiator sealant that is supposed to help the heads. I'm hoping since it is not a gapping hole that it will bandaid it until I get some real money. If I had my way I'd have the engine rebuilt! I know you're thinking why the heck do I keep sinking money into such an old truck but still to this day I calculated it and I have only spent 2100 including the truck. Besides, I love the truck.

Take care,
Joyce
