2001 Ford Explorer Transmission Fluid Color

I Have a 2001 4 Door Ford Explorer XLT 51,000 miles i just bought the truck, the transmission fluid seems to smell ok but the red color is fading away and becoming light brown/red color i have the 5R55E Automatic Transmission and i thought i needed a pump to get all the fluid out of the lines because i also want to flush the coolant system, if i brought it to a mechanic how much do you think they will charge me if i supplied them with the parts???

just pay the dealer or a garage specializing in trans service it's worth the money spent. most garages won't use customer supplied parts because they loose retail markup on them.
