Engine Cooling problem
1995 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 145k miles

my fan will come on and stay on after I turn off the car. I replaced the fan relay and that was not the problem. I can't think what else would cause it, can you?

How long did you wait? The fans can stay on as long as long 10 minutes after the engine is off.
