1986 Dodge 600 ES 2.2 L4 non-turbo, 33,000 miles.

Started, ran fine, parked for short time, no start. Cranks fine. First time it did start after an hour rest. Ran OK next day until evening, then same story. Very hot weather.
Just had exhaust system replaced from the rear of the cat back. Cat still original.

Vapor lock? Fuel filter? Fuel pump?

Any help appreciated.

Hi:
First I would check fuel pump pressure. If it is good, check the fuel pressure regulator. Also, make sure you are getting good spark. Finally, has the check engine light come on?

Let me know what you find.
