My vehicle started this morning with a full tank of gas 26 degrees outside. I didn't let it warm up started driving and about 100 yards down the road it felt like no response from the gas pedal. Completely shutdown. Electrical still works, but as I turn the ignition key and the engine turns over, there is no continuous revolutions of the engine. It feels like no gas was being injected into the cylinders. I had my fuel filter changed just 2 months ago and I had included a fuel injector treatment at the same time. What could this problem be? Water in the gas lines, fuel pump gone bad? If so would there be tell tale signs, and what would they be. What other possibilities?

MAy be a bad pump.

When you turn the key to the on postion you should hear a humming noise.

You can spray some carb cleaner or ether in the the throttle body, then crank it to help narrow down the lack of fuel.
