Ok ive put a used alternator and put a new battery in it last week, I also put a used starter in it this past summer, ok ive tested the battery with a meter and its getting about 14volts when its started which is telling me that the battery is being charged at least.I need to jump start the car every day after it sits about 5 hrs though and its starts right up with a jump. And ill drive it around town and it will start up after a short time of sitting with no probs! But after I let it sit for at least hrs it will not start, ive chcked every connection and all fuses but I cannot seem to find out whats sucking the juice out of the battery when it sits that long, I am totally stumped!Any and every idea will help me please, I dont know what lse it could be thats draining the battery whn the car sits at night, please help

Sounds like the voltage regulator in the altinator might be bad. Try, when the car is going to sit for a while disconnect the battery. Later when you come out it should start. If it does it means there is a draw on the electrical system. Check for any open circuits.

You have a dead short somewhere

Disconnect the positve cable put a test lite between the cable and the battery pos terminal, if the test lite lits-you have a short. Leave the test lite connected-go to the fuse box and start removing fuses I mean all of the fuses you can find. The one that kills the lite is the problem area.

You have to remember that some accesories use
electricity when vehicle is off, example the radio, it has electricty going to it to remember radio stations that you have set and the time. If you find that there is no draw of electricty when fuses are out you might still want to have the voltage regulator in the altinator checked.
