1997 Dodge Intrepid New Muffler

Hi,
I have a 1997 Dodge Intrpied Sport. I found a new muffler that would give me an extra roar that I would like to get. It is the Dynomax 24215 Glass Pack (Bullet Glasspack Muffler 2.5 Inch). It is a universal-fit muffler so there will be no problem putting it on. It has Ultra Flo Technology though my main concern is whether or not this muffler can produce the amount of airflow needed (or more) to keep my car running healthily. Would this muffler work?

Hello, if it is louder, no matter what, it has less backpressure. Whether it affects the engine or not. Idon, t think so. If anything it may affect maybe the o2 system or timing but Idoubt it. If you have any check engine lamps or problems I can help anytime, I am Joe I have seen so many Intrepids for so many problems that I think I could help, especially Electrical, driveability, engine, and transaxle, ok
