where is the fuel pump on this vehicle and how to replace

Hi:
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. To remove it, you need to take the tank out (or remove the 8 bolts holding the bed on to the frame and remove the bed. This is my choice because the tank strap bolts usually are rusted and break.) Once you have access to the top of the tank, use a hammar and a brass punchto rotate the locking ring counterclockwise to loosten it. Remove the pump and reverse the order. Here is a picture of what you're looking for.

I do recommend replacing the sock and fuel filter in addition to the pump.
