I have a 1996 Dodge Caravan 3.3L v6 with 150,000 miles. It runs beautifully except the transmission has recently sprung a huge leak. The transmission runs perfectly until the fluid drains out. I tried using "Lucas Oil Stop Slip" hoping it was a leak of a seal however the leak hasn't ceased whatsoever. I jacked the front end up and ran the car through the gears from 10 MPH to 60MPH. I noticed that the leak was most severe during gear-up and gear-down. I have contacted local mechanics who say its probably a "bushing" or a "pump". I further studied the undercarriage to find the source of the leak and I noticed the leak comes from an open area of the transsmission where i see some type of rotating part (see picture) [img:f68921f743]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/98520_joey_005_1.jpg[/img:f68921f743]
