Leak

I have a 1996 Dodge Caravan 3.3L v6 with 150,000 miles. It runs beautifully except the transmission has recently sprung a huge leak. The transmission runs perfectly until the fluid drains out. I tried using "Lucas Oil Stop Slip" hoping it was a leak of a seal however the leak hasn't ceased whatsoever. I jacked the front end up and ran the car through the gears from 10 MPH to 60MPH. I noticed that the leak was most severe during gear-up and gear-down. I have contacted local mechanics who say its probably a "bushing" or a "pump". I further studied the undercarriage to find the source of the leak and I noticed the leak comes from an open area of the transsmission where i see some type of rotating part (see picture)

You are zoomed in a bit too close! Is this the left side of the tranny? Can you do another pic zoomed out a bit more.

Here's another picture. Sorry about the proximity of the photos, I can only jack the car up so high.

I would look for a cracked switch or the like on top, might be running down there, I had a bad leak on the top, it was the control box and was about 250.00 to replace it. If it's the case you can see inside the differential area, you may have a cracked case.
