You need to determine what is missing. An engine must have spark, fuel and compression/timing to fire. There may be any combination of these missing.
What motor?
3.0?
3.3?
3.8?
Check fuel pressure, it must be in spec.
For a quick possible test, spray carb cleaner into the throttle body and see if it runs for a moment.
USe a spark tester to see if any spark is missing.
USe a noid light to see if the fuel injectors are firing.
Pull the plugs and evaluate them, they may just be fuel soaked and the problem may have actually been fixed, but the wet or fouled plugs may be preventing the start.
