Okay, did you check the compression in number 2 as well?

Did some of the power return with the pipes disconnected?

The pipes will not cause the rough running. It will cause the lack of power. The running rough needs to be checked by checking the compression. The misfire may have damaged the cats from unburned fuel in the exhaust and overheating the catalytic converters.

I figured out where the plug went; it's one of my knock sensors. I changed the idle control valve and now my truck runs a lot better, it's still missing in cylinder 3 and when I take off I can feel it kind of jerking a little. Like something is working and then not working, but if I hold the gas pedal in a certain spot then it is okay.

Does it idle in reverse?

Can you run the engine above idle?

I would check the throttle body for any carbon build up.

That is no good. It should be 140-160.

You either have a chain, tensioner or guide issues with the chain or worn valves.

Most likely from engine misfiring.

I think I figured out the problem. One of my shift solenoids went out; it says shift solenoid A. Now I just need to find out which transmission my truck has so I can order the solenoid. Do you have any idea?

Your truck came with the E4OD transmission.

You should have a deep pan.

If the computer says shift solenoid A is bad does it mean I need to change my shift solenoid pack? Because I don't see a shift solenoid anywhere.
