My truck will crank over but it will not start. If you try starter fluid it just shuts off after a second. The fuel pressure is good, I got 60 pounds on it. Everything I've checked is good. Could it be the wiring system going up to the steering wheel? Plus the battery light staying on and so is my mileage light.

Just jumping I here for a second. Is the security light staying on or flashing when the turn the key on? If so, therein lies your problem. Try turning the key to run without trying to crank it for at least 10 minutes, then off for at least 10 seconds. Repeat 2 more times. Then try to start it. See what happens.

That was somewhat helpful. It does seem like it wants to start up over now but the odometer light and the battery light is still on even when you take the key out.
