I drove the truck home this morning and everything was normal. Went to start it later in the day and the battery was dead. Tried jumping it off and it cranks but won't start. Dash cluster has power, but the fuel gauge reads empty. Added gas to be sure it wasn't empty. Still having the same issues. Also noticed that all exterior lights work but interior ones do not. Tried turning the interior lights on manually and they won't come on that way either. Also, the door locks are not working as well. Everything worked just fine this morning.

It sounds like the fuel pump when out but to be sure try to use starting fluid to see if the engine will run on that, this will help us determine if it is the fuel system or ignition system that has failed.

Here is a guide to help us see what's going on:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-not-running-advanced

If you turn the key to the on opposition without cranking the engine over, can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for about 5 seconds? If not, the fuel pump could be the problem.

Also, we should check for spark. Please follow this video:

Please go over these guides and report back.

Fuel pump is coming on. The one thing I'm concerned about is everything worked Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon, the no starting, the door locks, interior lights and fuel gauge not working. Could it possibly be a body control module or the ECM causing all the issues?

Yes, that could be the problem, power for each run through the BCM but to be sure we can run a CAN scan, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

and

Here are the BCM replacement instructions in the images below. You can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay.

Replaced the BCM and finally got everything back to normal. I also relearned the anti-theft system. Now all that's left is the service air bag light. Thanks for all your help guys!

I have seen a bad ground connection to the BCM cause it to overheat. here is a guide to help you check and the BCM wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which wires to test:

Also make sure the electrical connectors are free from corrosion. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
