Scan for codes and try resetting security system if no manual look online for your car.

Are you getting spark to the plugs? What about fuel? Also make sure you have put the cap and wires on correctly. Let us know if you need a diagram of the firing order.

Yes, I am getting spark to the plugs, and the fuel is coming through, and yes, I would appreciate a diagram of the firing order.

Car engine just died while driving. It cranks, but won't start and sputters for a second or two afterwards (turning key off). When this previously happened I changed the spark plugs, new battery and finally the crankshaft position sensor. Replacing the sensor got me going a bit, but car died again same day. Removing/reinstalling sensor didn't work. Dealership replaced the distributor and that got things going for a month or two. Car died again while driving. I've now replaced the fuel pump, fuel sending unit, and fuel filter. I got a new crankshaft sensor (warranty) and put that in. No help, but still not seeing RPM's move when I try to start car. Also replaced the timing belt (wasn't broken, but high mileage concern) and water pump, thermostat and thermostat housing. New radiator as well. Changed valve cover gaskets. Oil on the valve rockers and everything literally looks like chocolate covering everything (sludge?). I had a knock sensor code from the get go and a fuel temperature and fuel level sensor code after installing the new pump/sending unit, but all those codes cleared after I replaced the knock sensor, which meant taking off the upper and lower intake manifold. I cleaned those out. Cleaned the throttle body. Engine won't start with starter fluid last time I checked (month or so ago). Fuel is coming out of the line that attaches to the fuel rail/injectors. I checked one spark plug for spark, it had spark. Distributor rotor spins when trying to start the car. I don't have the tools or comfortability checking for engine compression. I'm sort of leaning toward that crankshaft sensor or distributor again. Apparently the camshaft sensor and coil is built into the distributor? Or maybe a computer issue or bad wiring to the sensor? Any help you can give me will be hugely appreciated.
