Is there still a burning smell? Also, before you accept the money back, you need to have someone check what is making the burning smell. I would wait to see if more damage was caused. Lets see if Ken jumps back in.

Okay. I have not drive the car since so I don't know.
Hopefully Ken had idea what to do.
Oh and let me let you know that the reason why can the manager at Firestone said that he's just going to refund my money is that he believes that it's something else like transmission and he's also in addition give me the money back because of me trying to help me out he said for me to take the money and go take it to someone that can look at the transmission because he really believes it's that. He doesn't want to work on my car any longer Joe. I don't think that they know how to do it because I already set up an appointment with them and they were supposed to have two technicians on Monday looking at my car and then today he tells me this.
It makes me believe that there's something not right. Because I do have a warranty with Firestone right so therefore they should be able to do my work. Am I wrong?

Is there any paperwork that I need to get from Firestone ie. The reason that they're not going to service my car any longer and giving me a refund?
