Truck will not start. But runs with starting fluid

92 chev c15oo 4.3l standard tansmission truck will run with starting fluid to start, above idle the truck runs. Dies at idle. Will not start. Replaced fuel pump. I have been told that the Idle air senor is bad. So tell me what is wrong?

Check the fuel presure, may have a defective fuel pump. Certain brands I don't use because of the unreliability. I assumed you changed the filter. If no/poor pressure, check to see if you power and ground are good at the pump.
