Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Chevy Suburban V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

This morning got up went to the store, when I was pulling out of the prking lot my suburban sorta stalled I guess you could say, not cut off just acted like it was abt to run outta gas. When I got home I parked it and approx 2 hrs later g-friend went to take a friend home, sub wouldn't start and still won't I've checked all fuses and relays I'm guessing it is the fuel pump. How can I know for sure before I go and dish out 250 dollars for one?

Your saying it cranks good but won't start? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one. When you first turn the key on, no crank, can you hear the pump run? The fuel pressure spec, may depend on the exact litre size? 55--62PSI

With the engine cranking, you can check voltage and ground at the pump connector. Gray wire is voltage, black is ground.
