IS there any runninbility problems now?

I would think adding octane boost would be okay for one tank full. Changing the fuel filter afterwards would be a good idea as well. Basic maintenance anyhow.

The CEL will likley show a lean code because the E85 is less powerful, thus why I mentioned the octane boost.

I have a 2002 chevy truck I some times get a check engine light when I use regular unleaded. The lcode it gives is for the knock sensor. All I have to do is run a tank of super unleaded and it will go away. You probably got the check engine light because of the low octane.

The pcm expects a certain octane. IF you have problems with the CEL and you are using the correct octane, you have a non-fuel octane problem.
