heater fan replacement

I have a 1997 chevrolet cavalier 4dr sedan , I believe 2.2 4cyl , my heater fan only works on the highest setting , I am asking for direction on replcing the fan motor. or other possible causes for the problem

the problem is the blower motor (resistor) not the blower motor. it's gonna be somewhere close to the blower motor itself. locate the motor and follow any wires you see back the resistor, replace the resistor and all fan speed will work. good luck :)
